Cancellations and No Shows

Appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Any notification or lack there of less than 24 hours before our meeting time will mean that you will be responsible for the full session fee of $140 (individual) or $175 (couples) REGARDLESS of what we agree of for your session cost. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask to fully understand the responsibility.

Late Arrivals

If you are unable to meet at your scheduled time, we will stay within the original time slot, and you will be charged the full fee. If there is no communication or response from the client after 15 minutes, the appointment will be considered as a no call/no show. This will make the client responsible for the full fee of the session, the same policy as stated above.
Telephone Communication - If you need to contact me via phone call in between our sessions, please leave your full name, number, and a brief message on my voicemail. I cannot guarantee a certain level of accessibility outside of business hours. I will do my best to return your call within 24 hours. If there is a true emergency, please call 911 for medical personnel.

Electronic Communication - This includes contacting me through text message or email. This is the preferable method for communication when it comes to cancelling and rescheduling appointments. I request that you do not use this form of communication to discuss therapeutic content and/or for true emergencies.
~
~
Court Testimony - I do not participate in court proceedings for any reason, unless mandated by law through a subpoena. In case of a subpoena, I charge a minimum of $200/hour for my time, efforts, and loss of other income.
Requests for Documentation - Any request for documentation must be paid in advance. Fee for documentation will be determined based on documentation that is being requested.
~
Termination - There are many reasons why therapy might need to be terminated, and it can be difficult. The termination process is important in order to achieve closure. Whether goals have been achieved, or there is another reason that therapy might have to be discontinued, it will be discussed in session.

If the client has failed to contact and schedule an appointment for four weeks, other than for legal or ethical reasons, the client will be considered as terminated.
